Many people are in awe when they see the fields of tulips and daffodils that seem to go on for ever in the Skagit Valley. I must say it is still an amazing sight no matter how many times I have scene them. But I have to admit there is something even more impressive and that is the Roozengaarde Flower Garden. Located right in the middle of all the tulip fields in the Skagit valley, the Roozen Family run the Roozengaarde Flower farm as a part of the Washington Bulb company. Every fall this 3 acre show garden is carefully panned and planted with approximately 300,000 spring flower bulbs that create amazing spring flower displays. One tip I would give anyone planning on going. Go on a weekday and get there as early as you can to avoid the traffic. If you really want to enjoy the garden, you need to visit when it isn't crowded. The nicer the weather the more people. One of the best times I had was then there was a little sprinkle of rain.

My photography focus is primarily nature and wildlife. I have a strong passion for the outdoors, capturing images that help preserve the numerous public lands and all that they offer. My travels take me all over the western united states to the common and not so common places. Many of my photos concentrate on the National Parks of Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Arches National Parks.
